The team of professionals at Kopp Investment Advisors possesses extensive experience in the investment industry. The Portfolio Management Committee, under the leadership of Lee Kopp and Sally Anderson, oversees all investment processes employed by Kopp Investment Advisors.

The efforts of the senior staff are complemented by a support team of analysts and portfolio managers employed to research emerging growth companies and monitor individual portfolios.

Lee Kopp's personal and professional successes have spanned nearly five decades since his graduation from the University of Minnesota in 1956, where he received a Bachelor's Degree with Distinction in Business Administration. He went on to serve in the U.S. Navy until 1959, when he retired from active duty as a Lieutenant. He spent the next 30 years with Dain Bosworth Inc., where he was the manager of the Edina branch and Senior Vice President. In addition to numerous appearances in the Wall Street Journal, Business Week and Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine, Lee was chosen as the 1995 Upper Midwest Entrepreneur of the Year for Emerging Companies. Since 1995, the Kopp Investment Advisors' Corporate Giving Program has committed 10% of its pre-tax corporate profits to charitable organizations. Lee is the Chief Investment Officer for the portfolios.

Sally graduated from Northwestern University, from which she holds a B.S. in Business Administration/Finance. Prior to joining Kopp in 1991, she was First Vice President and Assistant Director of Research for Dain Bosworth Inc., with whom she was associated for 26 years. Sally is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Society of Minnesota where she has held leadership positions. Sally is the Past Chair of the Minnesota Medical Foundation, which is associated with the University of Minnesota Medical Schools. Sally may be most nationally recognized as a result of her appearances on CNBC and CNNfn and in Money magazine, U.S. News & World Report and the Wall Street Journal.

Matt graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Financial Planning. He has followed small-cap stocks since he joined Kopp Investment Advisors in 1997, focusing in particular on the areas of Healthcare, Medical Devices and Life Sciences. Matt has been a featured speaker at the PricewaterhouseCoopers CFO Forum, and been published in BusinessWeek, Barron's, the Minneapolis StarTribune, and the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
